The payment processors have struck again. A creator in Japan received a message from Fakku showing payment processor Visa’s core guidelines for unacceptable content.

The list covers child sexual abuse, rape, nonconsensual harm, incest, and bestiality. In the case of this creator, Aiue Etizenn, known for Ijirare Fukushuu Saimin series, it was hypnosis content. Yep, you read right. Hypnosis…mind control.

We have to understand that the censorship doesn’t come from these companies like Fakku directly. Like the situation with SubscribeStar, the payment processors are pressuring the censorship.
Fakku was simply next on the chopping block.

Popular digital marketplace, DLsite, chose to get rid of Visa and Mastercard options and deal directly with a Japanese-based bank.
Unfortunately that method doesn’t work as well for our USA hentai providers, who are strangled by the monopoly Visa and Mastercard.

As I mentioned in my post regarding SubscribeStar, this would be a good time for a solid cryptocurrency to somehow step in to bypass this bullshit with Visa and Mastercard.
Perhaps my ignorance is showing, thinking it could be that simple.

The laws around adult content and censorship are changing rapidly. Any artists or creatives reading this, I urge you to start making your own website.
Making a website doesn’t magically fix the world, but it keeps you directly out of the jaws of platforms that can shut down on you the moment they get a letter from Visa or Mastercard.

Update: Before posting this, another development dropped from Chibi Reviews.
Fakku has delisted all hypnosis hentai from its site but has replied to a DM on X confirming this was due to the payment processors.
They’ve also stated alternative payment methods will be sought and they will try to fight back.
