Funimation Attempts To Rid The Internet Of Ishuzoku Reviewers

I feel bad for this show. Ishuzoku Reviewers has been met with nothing but controversy since its debut. The show started off with being pulled from most streaming sites because of the explicit content. Now, the notorious Funimation is shelving the streaming rights to the show preventing fans from legally accessing it.

Ishuzoku Reviewers grinds on the boundaries of hentai and anime. It follows a comedic troupe of characters that go around reviewing prostitutes and brothels. The show features copious amounts of nudity and sexual acts. Which leads me to wonder what the hell Funimation was thinking when they purchased rights to this series.

I was a little late to the Funimation hate bandwagon. But, I’ve happily hopped on-board when news hit that they were pulling Ishuzoku Reviewers from their own streaming website and seemingly not letting go of the US rights to the show.

Fans of the show started to upload uncensored episodes and compilations on Pornhub only for them to be smacked down for copyright claims. Of course more and more versions of the show are being uploaded and can still be found, but for how long?

At the time of this post you can still find uploads of Ishuzoku Reviewers on other sites. If Funimation’s hunt continues though the only way to find this series will be through less legal means like bit torrent. Not saying I am recommending that or anything though *wink wink*
